have had fish and lost them gutted for you all.
Res still is higher than we
would like it for this time of the year due to all the rain but we will carry on
regardless bait going in will help it massively. Next one is July 21st let me know

2nd OPEN MATCH FOULRIDGE 2019 Been a decent day on the Res with near perfect conditions. Cheers to the lads that turned up today been a few caught which kicks off our season perfectly. Waters still 20ft up on last year but it's not stopping the bream feeding. Next match is the charity match all in aid of McMillan get your names down It promises to be a belter

Firstly I want to thank each and every one of you for today and for supporting the charity match without you lads it wouldn't be possible to do we have raised a massive £450 today with other donations still coming in, that's what today was all about.
Onto the fishing, so rain rain rain for the last 10 days had put the Res up about 3ft, at the draw everyone wanted to draw alma avenue shallows for a chance to catch some of the resident slabs which are getting ready to spawn for the second time this year. 31 turned up and enjoyed a good breakfast put on for us by the cross gaits Inn.
Hard day for most being honest but Mike Gillespie drew the right area and made no mistake on a huge shoal of fish breaking news is it's a new match record 169lb 12oz in a 5 and a half hour match on a 90 acre natural venue is simply unheard of well done mate massive congratulations Mike won the day with the rest of us scratching for bites.

This venue amazes me everytime we fish it, were 12 months into a 5 year plan for the venue including stocking, parking access etc and it's just getting better with time this will be one of the best venues in the North without a doubt . Well done again lads and thank you for your continued support

3rd OPEN MATCH FOULRIDGE 2019
Can you believe my face when I arrived this morning to find the res 8ft up from the previous match something like that we've had a hell of alot of rain over the last 3 weeks that's for sure. Alma avenue and the wall was pegged today to change things up abit well done to all framers on a rough tough old day.
