Annual Charity Match Foulridge 2021

            2021 Charity match in aid of Alan Copperwaite

  Fantastic turn out for an open charity match today so firstly thanks to everyone who    has contributed to this amazing cause its really the least we could do for such an    amazing man.

  The fishing well its been absolutely fantastic and a really close affair both sides of the    lake producing bream and most pegs for that matter with just 1 really tough section.

  We've raised an amazing £403 including all raffle monies so first couple of thanks    have to go out to Gary Leigh from Absolute Angling #T.O.T.S.I.M and Tim Knott    from Daves Angling for the kind donations for the lads absolute legends the pair of    you.

   Fantastic fishing with plenty more 20s and teen    weights not making the main frame well done and    thanks for coming to raise a few quid

                          FOULDRIDGE  OPEN MATCH                                The Res just keeps on giving despite the colder     weather and rain its fished well again and the bream want feeding,     what a place it is well done to everyone today see you all on the next     one

     Today went back to Foulridge res drew peg 47 was happy with peg, after a fair       bit of plumbing up the best I could get was a 2 count at 75 yards which felt like       it was  just over a bit of a hump which was a 1 count first couple of hours had 4       bream but  wasn't going mad but was getting odd liners so felt they were closer       in so dropped back to inside of hump and straight away a fish so this is where I       stayed, plugged  away for another 13 bream and another match win mix again       was the Bagums  Ground Bait  Super skimmer dark /Commercial carp green       and the new Boillie  groundbait awsome mix for bream and skimmers

                           FOULDRIDGE  OPEN MATCH

    Firstly id just like to thank everyone who has come and fished with us this year on    Foulridge it's been another amazing season with some fantastic matches and    weights to go with it, so all those that have come and supported my thanks to you    and hopefully we will see you all next year for another season.

   Onto today and as expected it was hard hard going with freezing wind and about    10ft of fresh water in the Res, but there were bites to be had as Jeff Grant showed     Grant top man.

                           Foulridge members match  

            First one of the season and after yesterday's hot weather we turned up to     spawning fish everywhere in the shallows  not good at all, easterly winds too and t     the place shut down BUT and it is a BUT we all know what's coming once the     spawning is over tough place at times these Naturals!!

    Well done to our Shag Barrie Kaye drawing the right peg and making absolutely     no mistakes fishing a brilliant match for 9 bream weighing 56lb 3oz biggest     weighed  on its own at 7lb 9, also massive well done to Mark Thompson for a l     ovely tench last chuck on peg 6 for 4lb 4oz. The rest well we had a good old     game of bream bingo same names same faces obviously were pulled out
