        LOWERHOUSE STOCKING 2022

      On 15th November2022 50lb of Tench was

        introduced in to the Lodge

    STOCK NETTING ON LOWERHOUSE       What a very productive day Electo Fishing and netting     the lodge, great news  the fish are very healthy looking,    We now have a plan for the future sustainability of    Lowerhouse Lodge and a stocking plan.

                   WORK  PARTY  FOULRIDGE

      Can't thank the lads enough today who came to    the work party, 18 of us in total, I was absolutely    blown away with the support shown. 10 pegs 6    new ones to create a new section  for the match    lads, also the carp lads have 5 or 6 new bivvy    pegs. The lads  also moved  2 tonnes of MOT    down to fix the path ways for barrows and overall    an absolutely amazing day with the lads on the    bank finished with a few in the pub. Thank you all    so so much

                  1st STOCKING OF 2022

    Members on the 4th of February 2022  8 Carp was       stocked in Rowley  as the club discussed at the      AGM  mostly commons ranging between 11-14lb

      ROWLEY  BALIFF  BRETT  HALL                         HELPS  YOUNG  ANGLER

         For One junior angler,Ronnie Greenwood     Christmas came early last year as one of the     bailiffs on Rowley, Bret Hall  kept seeing Ronnie     and his dad on Rowley  strugling to set things     up ie  end rigs and alarms etc  Bret stopped to     show them how set up to catch carp .Bret     having  talked  to them  a few  times decided     to try and help them in some  way,  so he put     out a call to the club members to see if they had     any spare  tackle they could donate to help them     to get started , and boy did they !,

   Andrew  Baron,  Guy Stanworth,  Ronnie,  Brett     Hall  and others answered  the call with 2 carp    rods,   2 man  bivey  3 alarms,  chair , reels  plus    bits and pieces  to help him get  started.

                2nd STOCKING OF 2022

       On 15th November 2022 another  stocking at         Rowley Lake took place  with carp up to 10lb          from 5 Star Fisheris

                      ROWLEY  CLEEN UP 2022                  The Work partys on rowley over the last   few weeks went well. Few hours graft  down Rowley   cleared  pegs and path from dam wall down to dead   tree getting ready for spring  

 The committee would like to thank all mambers   who took part in the clean up big thank you to Lee    Maloy for cleaning out the stream near peg 38

         

   2nd STOCKING  FOR  FOULRIDGE 2023

    Another amazing stocking has just taken place on the     epic venue that is Foulridge reservoir. Now for those that     know the club you'll know we don't do things by half,     when we say we're stocking we do it properly.

    13,000 fish have just been added to protect the future of     this amazing venue yes you read that right 13,000 fish.

    A mix of Skimmers, Roach and perch all 6"+. We already     have the best bream in the North, we also have some     unbelievable specimen carp, the whole point of this     stocking is to look after the future generations of fish     coming through.

    The club has done some amazing work on predation over     the years and were in a brilliant position to bring these     fish through.

               STOCKING FOR FOULRIDGE 2023                On 15th of November saw the club continue to     add quality stock to Foulridge with the addition of 20 C4     carp ranging from 10 to 13lbs. As always massive thanks     to Ben 5 Star Fisheries for some more stunning fish.     Can’t wait to see these beauties grow.                                                                  Committee
