Summer league round 1

   Kicking off round one saw bright sunshine but a lovely breeze blowing across the res, as always there    was fancied areas and these didn’t disappoint for those lucky enough to pull the right draw out of the    bag, the fish still need catching when you draw the right area tho and on the opposite bank to us a    good battle was under way with only 3oz separating the top two on the day.

   First place  Scott Duffy with 79lb 7oz  peg 17   

  Second place  Stephen Dykes with 79lb 4oz  peg 18,

Summer league round 2  

  Perfect conditions on the res again but the fish just not playing out for the match lads, should have    fished the barrel peg where 40 odd bream have been caught (not on the match)

    Can only guess that higher than normal levels and cold weather is still affecting those bream shoals     as  the res hasn’t produced again.
